“Zeboyd’s two games are JRPG parody’s and firmly sit within the RPG category. On consoles this genre takes up 7.7% of sales, whereas on PC, RPGs take 20.3% of overall sales. Selling the game to the right market seems to have made a huge difference for these indie developers. Combine this with their bargain double pack deal and you see an indie success story blown out of proportion.”
So … make sure you match you choose a genre and platform that goes well together. :)
