Great concept. These guys are WordPress theme designers. Instead of doing custom work and encouraging visitors to “contact our team of experts” they lay their cards out: It’ll cost you £449 (about $100). It’ll take 5 days. It’ll be beautiful.
Huge advantages. The customer knows what they’re getting before they get in touch — so they’re “highly qualified”. The portfolio actually means something — you can use it to evaluate not just what the supplier can do, but what they will do for the money you give them.
449 gets to optimize their process and get really good at one thing. The concept is simple enough to go viral. And if they want to do other things they can just launch another site.
